3rd Annual Holiday Breakfast

Nov 16, 12 3rd Annual Holiday Breakfast

BOTG-NY is having our 3rd Annual Holiday Breakfast this year at the VFW Post 7279 located at 460 North Delaware Ave in Lindenhurst on Sunday December 16th from 9 am till noon. If you have never been to this event before you won’t believe the community support.

A very large breakfast spread will be put out from eggs, to meats, to bagels, juice, coffee, baked goods, etc., and we will be collecting items for care packages for our Troops serving overseas.  We also collect non-perishable food for local Veterans in need along with toys for these families as well.  Last year we collected tons of items for our Veterans & Military.  Santa will be on hand for the event, and there will also be a child activity center for card making for the Troops.

Being we had to cancel our Anniversary party this year, we also have 15 baskets to raffle off, from everything to beer and liquor baskets, coffee baskets, cordless hand tools, fishing poles, gift certificates, helicopter rides, Bud light bicycle, mini fridge, and the list goes on and on. We will also be pulling the winning raffle tickets from the big cash drawing and giving away $10,000.00

The funds raised at our events are used to help us get our mission accomplished. Not only by accepting monetary donations but also collecting items at the events that we ship to Our Troops serving in Harm’s Way in the Wars overseas by way of care packages. At this event we also collect food, toys and gifts for Veteran families that we adopt for the Holidays. We spend Christmas Eve out delivering collected items to these families.

All donations are tax deductible; our Tax ID # is 27-4279559. We are a 501c19 tax exempt Veterans organization dedicated to helping local Veterans and creating an awareness of issues that Veterans face every day, from PTSD, Wounded in Action, effects of Agent Orange, to helping them get back on their feet after rough times.

Thank you for your generous support, and we hope to see you at the breakfast.
