Rest in Peace Our Brother, Chris White

Oct 07, 13 Rest in Peace Our Brother, Chris White

ChrisWhiteOn Saturday, September 28, 2013,  a Good Man was taken from us, a Father, a Brother, A Son, A Husband, and a Good Friend to so many. He left us as he lived, giving his time for others. Chris White will be forever missed by everyone who ever had the opportunity to meet him.

For those that don’t know of Chris’s last few hours; it consisted of getting up at 0400 to assist with a motorcycle escort of a 99 year old WW2 Veteran who was heading to the airport to participate in the Honor Flight. Upon our completion of the escort and seeing the Veterans off, we all began our rides home. As Chris pulled out of the airport entrance another vehicle ran a red light, hitting Chris and 3 other cars. Chris was killed immediately.

Chris was only 44 and had three young boys (4, 7 & 8) that he and his wife Dottie were raising. He was also a key member of the Boots on the Ground NY team, besides just assisting and attending with escorts and events he was the spending his free time working on the VAC, doing wiring, plumbing and securing a central air conditioning system. Chris never had to be asked to do anything, he just did it because he knew it needed to be done, and he never looked for a pat on the back for anything he did.

If you would like to make a donation to help his young family financially, you can click on the link below.
