Sunday April 24th – 5th Annual BOTGNY benefit / PTSD Awareness event in memory of US Marine Robert Cafici.

At the Main Event on rte. 110 in Farmingdale, doors open 2 pm, admission $50 for adults ½ price for kids 8-15 and free for kids 7 and under. Live music by ‘Mixed bag’, great food, Good time. Tons of raffles. This is the event that covers the operational costs for our Veteran Activity Center, our facility which is there solely to assist Veterans though our many programs to include: peer groups, food pantry, furniture pantry, seminars, Therapy dog programs, a place where a Veteran can go and feel a sense of belonging.  100% of all monies raised at this event go towards the VAC, an anonymous sponsor has once again stepped over and offered to cover all costs associated with this event allowing 100% of your donations to go towards the cause.

Monday May 5th Seminar at the VAC

“Understanding the Impact of Service on Military Families”

explores dynamics of cycles of deployment on family members, including children and ways to foster resilience and re-connection.

Please share this seminar info with any Military Families you know, it’s an important topic for them.

The doors open at 6:15 pm and the seminar starts at 7pm and last about 90-100 minutes

Saturday May 14th – Welcome Home World War 2 Heroes!

At Macarthur Airport at 7pm.

There will also be motorcycle escorts of 4 WW2 heroes to the airports at 0500 hrs from three different stages at that time. Starting locations will be Ronkonkoma, Floral Park and Hampton Bays.

The Run for the Wall

From May 18th till Memorial Day, BOTGNY Founders Frank Bania & David Parker will take part in this annual amazing motorcycle ride from the west coast and ending in Washington DC. David Parker a US Air Force Vietnam Veteran is riding for his Brothers that never came home from the War. Frank Bania a US Army Veteran is riding is Honor of his Grandfather SSgt Frank Bania a World War 2 Army Veteran who spent close to 4 years as a japanese POW after surviving the Bataan Death March. We will be posting pictures and updates on the Boots on the Ground NY Facebook page.

Run For The Wall missions statement: To promote healing among ALL veterans and their families and friends, to call for an accounting of all Prisoners of War and those Missing in Action (POW/MIA), to honor the memory of those Killed in Action (KIA) from all wars, and to support our military personnel all over the world.



Sunday June 5th. Big Annual Pack out –

“It’s all about the Troops” – Summer edition!

At the Emporium in Patchogue from 1pm till 7 pm. Buffet, live bands, patriotism!

This is an all age, family fun event with a kid’s section, if you’ve been to one of our pack outs you know how fun they are for everyone.

Let see if we can collect enough donations this round to ship 3000 Care packages at this event!

School kids and organizations have already started collection in anticipation of June 5th.

On top of all the typical items we ship to the troops (jerky, games, toiletries, snacks, socks, there’s special underlying mission on this one. Our friends at Airborne Tri Team and sponsoring a 5k here in the states and while they are running here 600 American Soldiers will be doing shadow 5K in Afghanistan at the same time, so we need to get them running apparel, shorts, jackets, socks, new sneakers, water bottles, etc. We are also shipping them 600 medals and event shirts which cost $6,500 on top of all the shipping of the packages…. So we need help in the way of sponsors to cover costs, on top of general donations we are looking for sponsor for the event, purchase a VIP are at the event, sponsors can also hang banners, have their info and product at the event. Saturday June 18th – Our 7th Annual BBQ at the Northport VA

Every year we have a Father’s day weekend BBQ at the VA along with food & live bands for the Veterans that now reside at the Hospital. We are in need of sponsors to help us provide the food and t-shirts to over 150 Veterans. We will soon have a link up on our website for donations that will also get your business / organization of memorial of on the back of the t-shirt. All funds raised from sponsors either go towards food, t-shirt’s or supplies towards the Veterans that day.



America’s 9/11 Ride

August 18th – August 21st   …The Final Ride

The Founders of BOTGNY will once again be on their Harleys, this time riding for the 3000 Men and Women who were murdered on Sept 11th 2001 and also for the 1000’s of American Soldiers & Contractors who have lost their life while in Service to this Nation as a result of that day.

This ride Honors the fallen and Heroes of 9/11 and raises funds which go towards college scholarships to the children of first responders.

After 16 rides this annual amazing ride will end this year.
