Weekly Update – Monday March 6th 2017

This Saturday the team went out with two trailers and were able to assist 2 veterans with furniture for their apartments. The disadvantaged Veterans that BOTGNY assist have just recently transitioned from the status of homeless to getting government assisted apartments. The same day we were able to make 4 pickups of generously donated furnishings for apartments. Currently we are in need of only dressers, small kitchen sets, end tables, night stands. We ask that all pledges of furniture be in great shape, we also do not have much in the way of storage space so we are only picking up items that are needed each month. Your donations are tax deductible (speak with your accountant). BOTGNY will never sell an item to Veterans or anyone. Donated furniture is only given to veterans in need, never sold. And BOTGNY will never accept a donation from a veteran were assisting. To make a donation please only use this link from our website: http://www.bootsonthegroundny.com/item-donation-request-form/

Thank you for your support
