Feb 02, 18 What happening in February at Boots on the Ground NY

Boots on the Ground NY was founded to give Veterans opportunities to get involved, stay connected and gain self-worth by assisting their Brother & Sister Veterans here on Long Island. BOTGNY will be focusing more this year on their original missions of assisting displaced Veterans & hospitalized Veterans and providing information, resources and awareness through our weekly peer nights activities. If you’re a Veteran stop in on a Tuesday or Thursday evening, or during one of our Saturday missions; our missions will only be successfully accomplished if we have Veterans stepping up and volunteering their time.
Stay Connected – Get Involved!

Food, toiletry, pet food, cleaning supplies pantries are available for you also during these hours. At each night there is coffee, refreshments, snacks and dinner provided. Private meetings are also available on Tuesdays at 6:15 PM or Monday evenings (by appt). We are looking to have a Wednesday night program soon offering holistic type activities. We are also looking into starting an Outreach program for Veterans with dogs (more info will be posted when planning is completed.)
