This is the 3rd Saturday of the month, so we’ll be open for a few hours for collections, this date/time is just for a food drive drop off. There will be a collection tent set up in front of the VAC to allow for easy drop off of items

 

What we need…..

Canned foods, such as soups, meals in a can, chef boy r dee, Chili. Cans / packets of tuna fish, turkey, chicken, fruit, etc

Frozen Foods- (we have 3 freezers and 2 fridges)

Pasta and sauce, Mac and cheese. Rice dishes.

Boxed foods, cereals, carbs, breakfast bars, etc

Coffee, (cans and k-cups)

Snacks, (individual packets).

Condiments

Cleaning supplies, laundry soap, etc

 

 

BOTGNY maintains food pantries that feeds hundreds of vets (between our location and other pantries we supply),

BOTGNY ships care package items twice a month to troops overseas,

BOTGNY also supply veterans in hospitals and inpatient programs with supplies they need, toiletries, phone cards, clothing (socks/sweats/t-shirt’s/underwear)

We also always need microwaves, coffee makers. pots/pans, kitchen ware sets, dishes, etc, or our Veteran Support programs (which helps furnishes homes of veterans who recently transitioned from homeless in housing.

Select Monday’s are open to all veterans and military family members (every first  Monday of the month, doors open by 1800 hours) working on different projects to assist our many missions. 

Anyone wants to volunteer some time and get there hands dirty, Monday night is the night for it.
 This weeks mission detail: sort donations, pack a few care packages, assemble a few supply bags for hospitlized Veteran, set up some boxes of furnished for veteran households,


we will be ordering pizza for monday night,.

this will be a monthly thing
